Phone Back Online -- But Without an Address Book

I retraced all of my and Kayla's steps from yesterday, and searched the minivan, but no phone showed up. I have a feeling that the pouch in which it was traveling fell off of Kayla's purse somewhere and someone decided to keep it. So this afternoon I went over to the local Verizon store to see what could be done. Ironically, there was about $3.50 left for the final payment on the phone that was lost. They had a small number of flip phones left, and I started a new 36-month program and got a new phone. It's working now, and the phone has been reactivated with the old number.

Unfortunately, the phone's address book for flip phones is only local to the phone, so every one of my saved numbers is gone. If you think I had your phone number and you want me to have it again, send me a message and I will put it back into my new phone.

The new phone doesn't fit into my belt pouch, so that's another thing that we'll have to replace. That's just as well as the Velcro was wearing out on the old pouch, so even if Kayla hadn't lost it the way she did, there's a fair chance that I would have lost it from it falling out of the belt pouch.
