I didn't take "the" 80 — I took I-80. About ten miles is single lane. (Again, it's actually two single lanes: one to the left is for cars only and is a piece of the normally-westbound lanes; the one the right is the mixed truck/auto/local traffic lane and is part of the old eastbound lanes.
