Kevin, when I get back from LA this weekend, I will have my Dell that BlackSOD on me but would boot in SAFE MODE. If it's the same model as yours, would it help? You can swap drives and see if my motherboard is fine (which I think it is, i think my problem is in the harddrive/bad sectors in OS IIRC).
