The fancast trial has a strong slate this year.

People are already arguing over SFSignal getting a fanzine nom, and a simultaneous nom for their podcast in the fancast category (over at File770).

Randall Munroe still has partisans, let's see if there is, once again, a larger voting block that believes xkcd is professional art.

There's a bit of argument over Garcia's acceptance speech, but I think a bit of madness on the ballot is a good reminder for people about how important this really is.

I'm waiting for the "SF iz srs bzns" crowd to, as Scalzi puts it, "shit bricks sideways" over his last year's April Fools joke being nominated in the short story category.
