At the LASFS clubhouse, we have (on display of course) Rotsler's Hugos. One of which was also involved in a fire. Although the rocket was burnt (the chrome (?) coating is gone and the zinc is pitted, the whole award seems to have survived mostly intact.

Every now and then I think about suggesting we pay to have the damn thing recoated, but I'm not sure its the right thing to do.
