I think I would disagree with the closed meeting position. Not all WSFS members are able to crowd into one room - and there is a very busy science fiction convention happening outside, have they forgotten that? Some members can't even get to the convention. Having a record seems very reasonable. Video recording is only relatively recently practical but even back in the days when minutes were taken longhand and mailed out later as mimeographs there must have been fans interested in knowing what happened.
