Light Show
There's a subdivision in Fernley where they go all-out with the Christmas lights. This evening after dinner, Lisa and I drove over there to do a slow drive through. Last year we stopped and walked through, but it's colder this year than when we last visited.
One nincompoop came up behind us with his high beam headlights on. I drove into a cul-de-sac to let him get past us. He also drove way too fast for the procession of other cars drifting through the area. What's the point? Why drive to see a light show, then drive too fast and turn your own lights up so high that you wash out everyone else's view? Anyway, once the inconsiderate boob moved on, we were able to slowly drive through and admire the pretty lights.
Lisa put up a modest string of lights on the front porch. We light the lights, but we aren't going to spend weeks installing and removing them as the folks over in that part of town must be doing.
