Video Night
This afternoon after I finished with Day Jobbe, Lisa and I went outside to first fill the water tank in the travel trailer and then go get firewood out of the supply in the garage. Remember this photo from yesterday? The structure in the foreground is the awning over the front door. I came out the door carrying the hose, and Lisa followed me, closing the door behind her and walking under the edge of the awning just as the snow there finally cut loose and landed on her with the force of a bunch of snowballs. Oof! No harm done, but she was certainly startled! We got the brooms out and knocked most of the rest of the snow off the awning and then swept it from the porch before finishing the originally-planned duties.
Today being December 7, Lisa had an idea to observe it properly. We ordered pizza, Lisa fired up her remaining working laserdisc player, and we watched her LD of Tora, Tora, Tora, which I don't think I'd ever actually seen in its entirety before.
