It's a case of once you have the capability, you use it! Ghu knows, it saves on paper too. But with an ink cartridge, you may have to worry about bleed through. I don't do colour printing, so I've never bought an ink jet. It's my understanding that per sheet of paper, lasers are actually cheaper, but I don't really know. Cartridges, of course, are much more expensive (but I get mine through the office, and even though I still pay, it's a little cheaper).
