The reason this time switch throws us off is that the Sun hasn't changed. The light is wrong. It isn't a 7 am sun, it is a 6 am sun. Our bodies, which run on the Sun's clock, know that and they Protest!
At least when we fly across country, although our California watch says 7 am, we see a 10 am sun and the body adjusts accordingly.
I hate the Daylight Wasting time scheme.
