We echo the sentiment regarding bad traffic. About 15 minutes into California we regretted not just getting a room at Whiskey Pete's. It took us six hours to get to Victorville after a change of drivers in Baker and a 45minute catnap just south of Barstow. I was sad to see the Bonnie and Clyde car was no longer at Whiskey Pete's, but the new steakhouse was excellent!
