Perhaps you don't have a cable or satellite connection? We have eight (count 'em, eight) NBC-operated channels on our cable system that are showing various Olympic sports -- some live and unedited in the middle of the night. The classic NBC TV Network seems to be focusing on the crowd-pleasers and of course is doing a lot of time-shifting and editing, but the other channels are offering a wider selection.

Meanwhile, the Little League World Series is having playoffs on ESPN at the same time. Not to mention regular MLB games. This is about as much of a sports viewer as I get.
