see if they do 2nd month free (or first month) or the move-in for $1...that just made the two months half-price.

also the smallest lockers are upstairs in some places or above lower ones where you use rolling stairs, thus less desirable = less $$

last thought: wine storage. A locker the size to fit a couple of cases would be the right size for the sound equipment. I have a 2x4x4 for $44 (ground unit, I have to bend over to get in the back) but the ones above were ~10 less.
