Speaking of Westercon — what's with downtown San José being an In-N-Out desert? It looks like the only reason I'm not going to go massively out of my way to get to one is that I want to visit the Computer History Museum, so I can at least detour to the across-from-the-Googleplex location.

Thinking I'll end up bringing my Brompton — that way I can just take a cab to Mountain View, bicycle back, and avoid VTA entirely except for to and from the airport.
