More Packing

I have packed up another (small) bookcase and a filing cabinet for transportation to Fernley tomorrow. This has also led to me discarding large amounts of old papers that I'm never going to need again, and some hard decisions about old fannish papers that I don't see every having any use for in the future.

I sincerely sympathize on the "old fannish papers" thing. I have 10 linear feet of program books, fanzines and similar items that I don't want to keep, don't know someone who would want them and yet cannot bring myself to recycle.

That is one drawback of having the professionals pack for your move - a benefit I've had 3 times - they simply swoop in and pack everything. It is kind of like a plague of locusts, except that instead of eating everything, they throw it into semi-random boxes where you might not find it again for years,
