Busy

I was very busy yesterday and therefore didn't have a chance to post anything:

1. The spot betting revelations regarding the Clarke Awards have necessitated urgent reevaluation of the Hugo Awards process, particularly with the nominations for this year's Awards being announced this coming weekend.

2. Looks like I'll need to start learning Swedish.

Don't worry about the Swedish. Everyone you encounter in Stockholm will speak excellent English. The city is beautiful, not too big and very easy to negotiate, on foot, metro or buses. You'll have a ball.

Well, you don't have to learn much Swedish. Just a few critical phrases like "Procedural motion to separate the substantive question into parts" and "Move to refer to a committee of the whole" should do fine {grin}.
