John and I are in one a bit closer to the convention center but our older bodies aren't likely to be up for too much back and forth or late nights either. Looking forward to LA's compact site.
Quiet lounge areas can help for short breaks. I've advocated for coat/bag check facilities at previous Worldcons which have usually come down to a lack of people to run it or space for it. A reasonably priced secure check room would help both day trippers and many others for whom trips between hotel rooms and convention functions are tiring/not convenient.
