I Could Get Used to This

As I've mentioned, it's a strange feeling to not be run off my feet at a convention. I had two back-to-back panels from 11 to 1, after which Lisa and I walked the five (short, but in the rain) blocks to Chipotle for burritos for lunch. Lisa is very sensitive to spices -- she is almost childlike in her dislike of hot spices. The steak burrito was too spicy, and when she grabbed her soda to try and douse the fire, she literally choked on it. After her coughing spell subsided, the manager came over, and asked if she could do anything for us. Lisa explained that there was too much black pepper in the steak, and how Lisa can't stand spicy food at all. The manager suggested the barbacoa (pork), which is very mild, and offered to replace Lisa's burrito for free. Shortly thereafter Lisa had a burrito carnitas, pinto beans, and nothing else (no rice, no salsa, no cheese), and that suited Lisa just fine. I am seriously impressed to see that level of customer service and concern from what is admittedly and fast-food franchise. Good job, folks.

Now I must run for my last panel, about organizing a fan group.

I know you're doing you're con stuff.. but just wondering if you'd gotten my email.. though I think it went to your work one.. don't know if you look at those when you're away... not that I'm looking for a reply as I know you're busy with a con and all.. but just wondering if you'd received it :)

Hm, when did you send it? I don't recall getting a message from you in the last couple of days, and I just checked my Y! account as well (which as usual is overrun with spam). You may need to try sending it again. Sorry about that!

I Looked in my Inbox.. and I used a Reply To one of the emails you'd sent me.. which came from a Menlo Email address... so that's the one it would have gone too..

If there's a better email account I should use.. just email my lunarvixen@fox.ca with it... and I'll sent it there..

It's my first attempts at creating a budget for registration. :)

The @menloworldwide.com address is good, but I still can't find it. There's always a chance the filters thought it was nefarious in some way. Send it again, but cc kastandlee followed by at and yahoo.com (minor munging here to try and defeat 'bots -- the address is by no means secret).
