The furnace repair person is here. Here's hope that it isn't too difficult or too expensive to get the heat going again.

Update, 15:15: Diagnosis: blown circuit board. Fix: easy; he had a replacement board in his truck. Total cost: $300 total parts and labor.

We have had two boards blow on our furnace at the farm, possibly a power surge. I got tired of paying hundreds of dollars for them and went on Ebay last year and got one for $60.

Just a thought the next time.
