Slowly Improving
As I was apparently never actually running a fever, I think we can safely say that what I have is a bad cold and not the The Flu, swine or otherwise. Lots of sleep, plenty of fluids, and eating comfort foods like chicken pasta soup have been helping. I'm slightly better today than I was yesterday.
It bugs me that I've not accomplished many of the physical tasks I planned to do this week because I've simply been too ill to go clearing brush or hauling wood. Lisa is not faulting me for this, however. She doesn't have a whole lot of stamina herself, what with her tinnitus making it impossible to get restful sleep.
I would, however, really like to get the several small piles of cut branches stowed in the wood shed so that the places where they are currently sitting can be mowed. Mowing is very important at this time of year, as the grass is starting to grow quite quickly, and, as I mentioned to Cheryl yesterday, keeping the grass cut here in spring and summer is like painting the Forth Bridge.
