Peter Bergman of the Firesign Theatre has died

I'm so glad I got to see the Firesign Theatre perform on stage together a few years ago in Portland. It probably wasn't their best performance — it was their opening night of a tour and their behind-the-scenes notes later suggested it went a little rough — but still very fun. I'm still sporting a Ralph Spoilsport Motors license plate frame that I bought at that show on my van.

Well damn.

I thought when they said "Give me immortality or give me death," well.....I sort of hoped it might end the other way ya know? The world needs more of their sort of insanity.

And I like the license plate frame. "It's a beautiful car, friends, with doors to match." :)
