Medical Update

I took the final does of the antibiotics for the sinus infection yesterday. Aside from some continuing coughing (chronic bronchitis) caused by the effects of the cold I had earlier this month, I think I'm mostly recovered.

The Ozempic prescription renewal (8 doses, 1x/week) showed up on Saturday, and I took a dose this morning, so I'm back on the train. I expect my appetite to drop off again soon, but that's a good thing.

I can sympathise as my dearly beloved takes ages to get over colds (he's asthmatic which doesn't help).

I have mild asthma as well, but it generally only becomes and issue if I have a cold, which is why I've been mostly trying to stay masked up; however, I've retreated somewhat from that in some cases, and that is what led to catching that cold after the Lottery expedition.

And further complicating things is that Lisa doesn't want me anywhere near her because she already caught a cold from me once, and if I'm coughing, she assumes that she'll get the lurgi as well. At least she has her own isolation ward (the travel trailer) where she can stay isolated from the rest of the world, including me.

That it can. It's slowly improving. I just hope the runny nose drainage that the Ozempic causes doesn't start it up again.
