Well, I couldn't be in Oregon this week, but I was careful to mail her a card that would arrive before today. I actually mailed it from the same post office in which it would arrive when I was there last weekend, but the mail system being the way it is, the card went clear to Portland before getting back to Mehama. I know that on the whole, hub-and-spoke routing is more efficient, but it always seems strange in outlier cases like this.
