Well, I couldn't be in Oregon this week, but I was careful to mail her a card that would arrive before today. I actually mailed it from the same post office in which it would arrive when I was there last weekend, but the mail system being the way it is, the card went clear to Portland before getting back to Mehama. I know that on the whole, hub-and-spoke routing is more efficient, but it always seems strange in outlier cases like this.

The more important date for me is March 6th that is when Baltimore Oriole Minor Leaguers report. Aberdeen Ironbirds baseball is one of my passions. Come on June 17th.
