Tonight's Rumor of the Week at BASFA was that "The Bank of Morgan-Standlee will be acquired by a Japanese bank."

(The BOMS, for those of you not in the know, is a combination of Cheryl and me -- mostly Cheryl -- useful for making very-small-scale international currency transactions. Between us we have perfectly legal checking accounts in three different countries; therefore, within reason and legal limits, we can move money from US dollars to Australian Dollars and UK pounds as needed.)
