I sometimes think that people oppose the idea because they're affraid that it'll be them thrust into the Presidency.
In all seriousness, I'm betting that a WSFS permanent heirarchy could never work, but there is merit to the idea of at least a permanent committee to resolve disputes and deal with possible lawsuits and deal with Mark Protection (which already exists as I understand it).
