We were already packed to the gunnels in the van and thus carrying tubs wasn't in the cards. We tend to only buy sodas that we like, and consequently the leftovers don't go to waste. The leftover sodas pack and stack in their cases better than tubs would, so it should be okay. We just need to be sure to get them out right away when we get home, as it's hot enough there that we'd risk exploding soda cans otherwise.
