Something like that had crossed my mind, particularly inasmuch as one of the ideas Lisa and I have been tossing around is renting a short-term apartment in Tonopah for the four weeks before and two weeks after Westercon 74 should we win, giving us a "forward base" to which things could be shipped. (The place we looked at was furnished, air conditioned, and had internet access, so I could work from there.)
I do have an alternative plan in place for that prize slot should Tonopah not win the election.
