Weed Removal

A day of reduced smoke with high temperatures below 30°C on a weekend meant that I had no excuses for tackling the weed regrowth on the far side of our fence yesterday. After breakfast, I set out to tackle the growing ground cover, which continued to annoy me because it produces little "caltrops" that stick to our shoes and get into the house, where they make their presence painfully known when we step on them.

There still it a lot of brush we need to cut back from the fence lines, some of which will need us to get out the power tools, primarily the electric chainsaw. Fortunately, there are power outlets within range with the extension cords we have. When we'll actually have conditions that will let us get the work done, I cannot say.
