I foresee that we will see future conventions make it a policy that all members must waive, in writing, all liability from COVID-19 or any other infectious disease. That's draconian, but it may be the only way that groups will be willing to take on the risk. Alternatively, we'll just see all fan-run small conventions disappear, and only large, well-funded, deep-pocketed gate shows will be left.
