Inside Slider? More Like a Curve Ball

The forecast "inside slider" snowstorm coming down out of the north (rather than from the west) moved more slowly than originally forecast, so it did not start snowing here until about 8 AM. If you haven't read my entry from yesterday, go back an look at the pictures of the mostly-melted snow in the East Lot, then have a look at the photos of today's snowfall.

We got between 3-5 cm of new snow, re-covering everything that had melted. It's a bit less than originally expected; however, the current forecast says we could get a big more tonight.
I swept and shoveled the porch and walks this afternoon before attending a planning meeting online for Pemmi-Con, in which my past experience as the Events division head for the previous Glasgow Worldcon came in unexpectedly handy.
In this year's NASFiC's case, I'm in the unusual position of being its WSFS division manager because there are two WSFS functions happening there (2024 NASFiC site selection and a NASFic Site Selection Business Meeting), so I'm a "tenant" in two other divisions' space (Fixed Functions and Programming).
