I'm using Free and Clear (no dyes or perfumes) for the first shampoo and then a Lush cinnamon-clove-peppermint shampoo bar for the second. I'm using Dove conditioner.

You're quite right that high humidity is not an issue here in northern Nevada. It's about 20% humidity here today, for example.
