Don't know what the basis is for Lisa's non-made in China preference, but there are products made in Japan by Chinese labor. Since the Japanese have negative population growth, they've been importing laborers from China in guest-worker type programs. Don't know what the exact numbers are but one of my cousins-in-law is employed as an interpretor/facilitator for Japanese firms that participate in the programs.
