Stuck in Molassas

My internet connection speed has slowed to a crawl, to the point where I can't get any work done. One click and wait several minutes for the remote application to load. No idea if it's a local problem on the home network, a problem at Lisa's father's ISP, or something more widespread. It's late in the day anyway, so I'm going to quit for the night and hope things are better tomorrow morning.
