I don't think civilian lines have a rank of "Admiral." Possibly "Commodore," for which I reckon I'd only need a different set of shoulder-boards. However [within the Interaction storyline], while the Board of Inqury held at CascadiaCon cleared me of all wrongdoing, I've never been able to find a billet in any WSFS ship of significance, so the chances of being promoted are slim.
Hm, thinking about it more, as a director of Anticipation's parent non-profit, a rank of "Commodore" within the "White Star" line might actually be appropriate. Have to think about that some.
And in my case, the dress uniform would still be white and would probably resemble a tuxedo. (I considered it for Interaction, given the need for me to appear at formal occassions like the Hugo Awards, but abandoned the idea due to the cost.) There's no non-white uniform for civilian cruiseliners of which I'm aware.
