Yes, that's what DaemonTools is. It created a virtual E: drive (D: is my actual CD-ROM) into which I mounted an ISO image of the Locomotion key disk. It didn't work; it wasn't that it couldn't read the virtual drive, but that it needs to read specific things that the disk image didn't have. A copy of the physical CD-ROM doesn't work, either. It's part of the copy-protection scheme.
