Yeah. I've actually lived about a third of my life in "the country" (home town in the Sierra foothills, then my grandparents' farm, then some Forest Service bases), but for most of my adult life I've been more of a city slicker. Glad you like the stories. As we keep working around here, I amuse myself by thinking about how it might make a good LJ entry.
