Hot Time in Sacramento

Lisa and I checked out of the hotel Sunday morning and walked back down to Old Sacramento to spend several more hours at the UP150 event, including making a relatively brief pass through the California State Railroad Museum, which had free admission this weekend. We also took many more photos, but I do not yet have time to post them.
Around 2 PM, after getting lunch in Old Town, we limped back to the hotel — I've a blister on my heel from all this walking — and Lisa drove us to Fernley. We stopped briefly in Colfax at my "regular" Starbucks there so I could show Lisa where I typically end up spending about an hour every time I drive home on a weekday, since I usually stop there and check mail in case work has chased me after I leave at Noon.
We stopped for groceries in Reno and got home to Fernley at a relatively decent hour, cleaned up my work space and confirmed that all of my work connections are correctly in place, but otherwise I did no other computer work as I was beat and needed to get to bed. I hope to post more about UP150 later in the week when I get a chance.
