Lisa left San Jose a bit after Noon today, and made good time getting back to Fernley. She reports that the house and trailer were cold (about 6-7 C) but nothing froze despite temperatures going down as low as -6 C in the Fernley area with a dusting of snow over the weekend. It's not going to necessarily be all that fun for me working from up there over Thanksgiving, however, as the wood stove is out of service until we figure out how to replace and repair the damaged glass in the fireplace door.

I took the rest of the day off, taking a load off of my aching feet and getting laundry done. Given my average number of steps per day last week, I thought I'd earned a day not walking 15K steps.
