We were planning on implicitly observing National Buy Nothing Day, not having anything we wanted to buy and not wanting to embroil ourselves in traffic and crowds. However, last night, one of the two bottles of propane on the trailer ran out, and while we have several spare bottles in reserve, our normal doctrine at Fernley House is to try and keep all bottles topped off since you never know how long you might have to live off of stored reserves. Therefore, we will roll the empty bottle down to the propane service a few blocks from here, and that will probably be our sole contribution to the consumer economy today.

Relax. If you didn't buy it at 5 am for 50% off, it doesn't count.

I agree. Consumables that you were going to buy anyway are allowed.

I actually visited two walmarts yesterday. Both after 8:30 pm. One was for restroom use only. Second time was to take a friend to replace his phone that he dropped on Wednesday.
