I spent much of today helping move more stuff out of the RetroDome Theatre and take it over to the warehouse where they are storing things until they get a new home. This was a great deal of work, and I said I was glad I don't do it as my Day Jobbe, but I was happy again to help. I snapped a few photos along the way, and if any of them turn out, I'll post them later.

I couldn't stay until The Bitter End because I had a ticket to the SAP Open tonight, and, covered with drywall dust and dirt and what-have-you, I needed to get back the apartment and shower and change before catching light rail downtown. I got to see a very entertaining exhibition match about which I hope to have enough energy to write tomorrow. In the meanwhile, I'm just glad that for the first time in over a week, I don't have to get up at 6 AM or earlier.

In less good news, while i was walking home from the light rail station, idly chewing a food bar, I forgot that I had a temporary crown on the right side of my mouth and managed to break it. I didn't swallow it, but the crown popped off. I cleaned off the largest piece and carefully put it back into place, but now I have to make due until Monday morning, when I hope that my dentist isn't taking President's Day off.

I did a similar thing with my crown a few years ago. To temporarily stick it back in to provide you some dental function. You can use a bit of denture adhesive goop and it will stay in place pretty well. But remove it when you go to sleep, as it could come loose as you sleep and choke you.

I'm fortunate that most of the tooth is still there (lower right 2nd bicuspid) and that I can manage to chew on the left side of my mouth pretty much okay. I decided to not declare a dental emergency and instead left a message on my dentist's service. I expect we'll deal with it tomorrow when he can fit me in. I just need to be a bit more careful for the next three weeks until the gold crown comes back from the lab.
