A change in my work schedule means I have to be in the Bay Area next week. That combined with the expected return of winter weather in a couple of days meant that we needed to get out ahead of our planned shopping schedule. After work today, we went into Reno, had dinner, and made the rounds of our grocery shopping. Lisa drove us home. She's feeling much better. I'm possibly slightly better than I was yesterday, but not much. I hope to be recovered from the cold before I head down to the Bay on Saturday. Fortunately, this won't interfere with me participating in the Nevada Democratic caucus on Saturday.

Not connected with this at all, but Caroline Mullan pointed out this:

What action, if any, needs to happen?

Nothing. This isn't their first conference. All of them have been in India. We've attempted to contact them and they've ignored us. They show no sign of ever holding their event anywhere but in India. It seems highly unlikely to me that we'll hold a Worldcon in India anytime soon. The Worldcon service mark is registered in the USA and the EU, and there's not a whole lot that we can do unless they ever leave India or we ever go there. Service marks aren't worldwide.

It's annoying, but I don't think there's much we can do. This has been mentioned in the WSFS MPC's reports to WSFS several times, but of course nobody ever actually reads the reports.
