Iceland! You'll be there on Culture Night (in Reykjavik the Saturday after the Worldcon)! Lucky you. It's completely awesome. A small part of why is that pieces of it happen in a convention center that would be perfect for a Worldcon -- if only the hole in the ground next to it had been turned into a hotel before the economy crashed. A decade later the hotel project is finally going through but with only 250 rooms.
Also awesome in Reykjavik is a restaurant called The Laundromat Cafe, on Austurstraeti. Best brunch in town, in a country that is All About The Brunch.
