Dodging Snowstorms

There's a storm in the Sierra now that has had chain controls in effect for a while. Fortunately, the storm should finish tonight, and I would expect the road to be open without restrictions by tomorrow afternoon, which is good because there is a Worldcon 76 division heads meeting in San Jose this weekend, and I plan to leave after lunch tomorrow to make the drive down there. We come back Sunday afternoon, and at the moment, the weather looks good for me to do that as well. But I'm going to take my work computers (I have two, for "security" reasons) with me just in case we get stuck on the wrong side of the mountains on Sunday.
