We get some interesting cloud formations over Fernley sometimes. A couple of evenings ago, our timing was perfect as some lenticular clouds formed after sunset at ground level but while the sun was still slightly illuminating the clouds themselves.



The big rig in the middle ended up parked there for three days, which is unusual. Overnight is typical. Even stranger, the rig went away for a few hours, then came back for another night. We speculated that he must have gone over to one of the truck stops to top off his fuel.

This photo op lasted only a few minutes, as the sun finished setting and the clouds broke up. I'm glad Lisa spotted this one.
