Working from Home
Nov. 3rd, 2005 07:56 amBecause I need to leave for the airport a little before 1 PM today to head for OryCon, I'm working from home this morning. This meant I was "at work" at 6:30 instead of more like 9:00. I find that I really like being able to remotely access my "modeling" desktop computer at the office -- it's faster than it would be to move the files to my laptop and work them at home, and when I set a model to running, I can continue to work on my personal machine without it bogging down to run the model. Ah, the wonders of technology.
