Happy Birthday, Lisa

Today was my wife's birthday. Ordinarily, I would have gone up to Oregon this weekend, and possibly have taken today as vacation; however, instead we'll be going to Last Guest Con at the Sea-Tac Radisson in two weeks. I did not forgot to send her a birthday present, however: a copy of Sunday Nights at Seven: The Jack Benny Story. (Note that I did not buy one of the 23-cent copies you'll find if you follow the Amazon link.) Lisa and I both have a love of old-time radio, and she was very happy with this present; indeed, she told me she'd been meaning to ask me to look for a copy of this exact book.

It's probably just as well that I wasn't there this weekend, as I feel like I'm coming down with a cold and I'd rather not give it to her.
