Off to Watsonville

I'm leaving shortly on a field trip to a food processing plant in Watsonville. One of the local professional organizations in the logistics industry has organized a plant tour, and my manager told me I need to get out and visit field operations more often, especially when the travel expenses are -- as in this case, just mileage and a meal -- small. And, fortunately, my workload is such this week that I'm not letting a significant project slip while I spend the day in Watsonville. They tell me this is but a calm before a storm of new projects in the pipeline, however.
