Waterworks

It's a little strange to call coming in to the office at 11 AM "early," but since I've been keeping "Australian" hours and coming in between 1 and 2 PM (and getting up correspondingly late, and working similarly late), it definitely is early to my body clock. However, my apartment complex distributed another maintenance notice a couple of days ago warning me that the water would be off from 9 AM to 3 PM today, so if I wanted a shower, I would have to be up a couple hours earlier than usual. So I dragged myself out of bed on short sleep and got myself underway early. Now let's see if my brain will catch up with me before 2 PM.

A Good Day: Dodgers Lose, A's Win

BEAT LA!

Mets beat Dodgers 6-5 and lead the best-of-five NLDS playoff 1-0.

A's beat Twins 5-2, winning both of the games played at Minneapolis, and take a 2-0 lead home with them, needing to win only one more game to move on to the American League Championship Series.
