Quiet Saturday in Oregon
Jan. 20th, 2007 10:00 pmToday, we had an errand in Salem, namely going to an electronics-supply store in town and buying 70 feet of cable Lisa wants to use to make a microphone cable for the Match Game setup. Then we stopped in Stayton on the way home and bought the cream we'd not got when we bought the rest of the groceries, and I bought five boxes of Breath-Right strips on my FSA card because the strips are $3/box cheaper at Bi-Mart than Walgreen's down here, and there's no sales tax.
We celebrated Lisa's birthday (which was actually last Tuesday) with shrimp pan roast and watching train videos -- specifically a not-very-well-narrated collection on electric trolley freight. And we got a lot of walking done, which is always good.
